On the occasion of the Chinese New Year celebrations, Milan hosts an exhibition that captivates far beyond the festive calendar. On February 13, 2026, "Oops! Into the Rabbit Hole" opened, the solo exhibition by artist and illustrator Joyce Tang (唐圆方), a project that creates a dialogue between Milan and Chengdu through images suspended between dream, transformation, and metamorphosis.

Promoted by APICAIA, the exhibition is part of the cultural exchange program between Italy and China, offering an immersive visual experience that invites visitors to cross both real and metaphorical boundaries.

A symbolic passage between reality and imagination

The exhibition’s title evokes the famous passage into Alice’s fantastical world, transforming the “rabbit hole” into a metaphor for transition and discovery. Tang’s works explore identity, memory, and transformation through delicate, layered images, where natural elements, symbolic figures, and dreamlike atmospheres coexist in balance.

The exhibition path suggests an inner journey: crossing the boundary between worlds means confronting the unknown, allowing oneself to be surprised, and embracing new perspectives.

An exhibition that unites Milan and Chengdu

The exhibition unfolds simultaneously in Milan and Chengdu, creating an artistic dialogue between Europe and Asia. At the Xin Cha Jian space in Chengdu, a coordinated selection of works is presented, building a cultural bridge that reflects the core of the project: connecting cultures through the universal language of art.

Tempio del Futuro Perduto as a space for cultural experimentation

The Milan venue of the exhibition is the Tempio del Futuro Perduto (Temple of the Lost Future), an independent space known for its interdisciplinary focus and for promoting contemporary artistic projects.

The inauguration on February 13 was attended by the artist, Axi: president of APICAIA, An Wenzhuo: curator of APICAIA,Tito: representative of Tempio del Futuro Perduto, and the artistic director of the space; highlighting the collective and collaborative nature of the initiative.

On February 22 at 3:00 PM, it will be possible to join a guided tour led personally by the artist, a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insight into the creative process and the meanings behind the works.
