The exhibition Between Bodies presents a dialogue between Andreas Senoner and Krizia Galfo, united by a shared reflection on the body as a space of transformation, memory, and tension. Within the spaces of Candy Snake Gallery, their practices intertwine, shaping an intermediate territory in which identity and interiority are continuously redefined.

Senoner’s sculptures, made of wood and organic materials, evoke hybrid figures suspended between the human and the natural. The bodies appear as living archives, traversed by processes of metamorphosis and stratification, poised between presence and dissolution. Through elements that suggest an undefined temporality, the artist investigates the fragility and resilience of identity, moving between anthropology, biology, and symbolic imagination.

Galfo’s research, on the other hand, develops across painting, photography, and cinematic language. Her portraits, constructed through close-ups and dense atmospheres, explore inner dynamics and latent conflicts. The pictorial technique becomes an integral part of the discourse: controlled surfaces and color palettes such as pink and violet amplify a restrained emotional tension, suspended between intensity and detachment.

In the dialogue between the two practices, a shared reflection emerges on the body as an unstable and constantly shifting site. The exhibition thus takes shape as a space of passage, where matter and image construct a sensitive and layered narrative, capable of questioning the forms through which we perceive ourselves and others.
