Installation view exhibition "Libera circolazione entro fragili confini".

After Cosenza, Rome, and Matera, A-Head Project with artist Angelo Gallo arrives in Milan with the exhibition Libera circolazione entro fragili confini (Free Circulation Within Fragile Boundaries), curated by Raffaella De Chirico. The project, promoted by A-Head Project of Angelo Azzurro Onlus, explores the relationship between contemporary art and mental health, aiming to combat stigma and activate pathways of awareness and connection.

The exhibition traces Gallo’s research as a single organism, in which different works enter into dialogue around body, memory, and transformation. The itinerary unfolds across two communicating rooms, conceived as a perceptual continuum that leads from fracture toward a dimension of listening and anticipation.

In the first room, the core of the Anatomie Forzate (Forced Anatomies) series develops, featuring the engraving Uccello senza ali (Wingless Bird), a symbolic image of a body deprived of the ability to fly. A letter from the project Random Recipient remains in the gallery as a trace of an action extended over time, distributed across the urban space of Milan. The sound work Memoria (Memory) introduces an immaterial dimension that prepares the transition.

The second room hosts the interactive installation Waiting (Waiting), dedicated to waiting as a shared condition. Around it, engravings and light paintings reveal the stratification of engraving processes, connecting animal anatomies and human bodies.

Taken as a whole, the exhibition constructs a sensitive environment in which body, time, and perception intertwine, transforming the exhibition experience into a space of relation and attentiveness.
